Jazz bassist and composer Ilya Osachuk talks through the process of making his debut album - THE ANSWER with his bandmates; pianists Tyler Henderson and Donald Vega, and drummers Kai Craig and Billy Drummond. Though Osachuk's first release, THE ANSWER is a triumph for the young musician, featured as a performer, composer, arranger, and producer on it. He has created an album grounded in the jazz tradition while proving himself to be a unique voice within it. While the assortment of music on this album is diverse, the common thread is the honesty and integrity of each performance. It is an excellent showcase of Osachuk's ability as a musician and an incredible realization of the young musician's artistry. THE ANSWER will be released worldwide on Friday, November 1st 2024.
